Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro starts receiving stable Android 10 update based on MIUI 10

Google has just released the stable version of the latest Android 10 Q and aside from Google's pixel devices and essential phone, the Xiaomi K20 Pro is the third smartphone to receive the update. Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jeun made this announcement in a post he shared on his official Weibo account.
It is however worth noting that the update is currently rolling out only to those who applied for the Android 10 beta testing, but it is expected to roll out to other users soon. Xiaomi started the beta testing of the Andriod 10 about a month ago and the beta program is still open, so new interested K20 Pro users can still join by clicking HERE.

The Android 10 comes with a whole lot of new features such as a system-wide dark mode, more privacy controls, a focus mode to let users silence apps they find distracting, a hierarchy system for notifications, bubble notifications, smart reply, and a new gesture navigation mode among others. The Android 10 update rolling out to the Redmi K20 won't really come with any UI changes so users wouldn't really see any visual changes yet until MIUI 11 is released later this year.

If you have not received the OTA update yet, you can manually install the Android 10 update on your Redmi K20 Pro by clicking HERE.
