Download and install Orange Fox Recovery Project R10.1_1_01 (OFRP) for Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet)

The team behind OrangeFox recovery project has just released a new version for their Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro (Codename: Violet). The new ORFP for Violet is the version Version: R10.1_1_01 and it is still in its beta form.

The latest OrangeFox recovery for the Redmi Note 7 Pro Violet comes with an updated kernel and an updated Magisk addon of version 20.3, a well as a few other changes. Below is the full official changelog.

Build Bugs:

• With respect to the new support for "metadata" encryption, those using ROMs with the standard "wrappedkey" encryption should ignore any error messages about not being able to mount "/metadata".

Build Notes:

• The new support for block-based incremental OTA on custom ROMs requires some set up procedures (similar to those for MIUI OTA updates) - read the FAQ and Guides
• There may well be unexpected issues relating to decryption.

How to install OrangeFox recovery R10.1_1_01 on Redmi Note 7 Pro - Violet

• Make sure you have a Twrp custom recovery installed already or click on this LINK.
• Download the OrangeFox recovery for Violet from the link below.
• Copy the downloaded OrangeFox file to your phone internal storage.
• Reboot to recovery.
• Click on install and select the downloaded OrangeFox file.
• Once the installation is completed, your phone will automatically reboot into OrangeFox recovery.
• After that, you can go ahead and reboot to system.
