 While Google is already warming up to release the next iteration of Android OS which is the Android 11, there are still a couple of Xiaomi smartphones that are eligible for Android 10 but yet to receive the update and one of them is the Xiaomi Redmi 8A dual (Codename: OliveWood).

The good news however is that Xioami has just started rolling out the new Android 10 update for Redmi 8A dual users outside of China, specifically for those in India. Even though this is a new update, it is however still based on last year's Xiaomi MIUI 11.

The latest Android 10 based MIUI 11 update for Redmi 8A dual comes with the build version number V11.0.1.0.QCQINXM. It comes with all the standard Android features like dark mode, gesture navigation, digital wellbeing, and many more.

The update has already starting rolling out but it is being done in batches so only a handful of users will get the update first before it gets to all users. You can manually check if the OTA update is available for your phone by heading over to your Settings > About Phone > Software update. If you still can't find the OTA update, you can either wait until it is available for your own device or manually download and install from the links provided below.

How to Manually check for OTA update on your Redmi 8A Dual
Not all Redmi 9 users are getting the new MIUI 11 update yet. You can however still check to know if the update is available for your own device yet by following the instruction below.

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> System update.
  

• click on Check for updates.
  
• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
