Full list of Xioami, Redmi and Poco phones to receive Google Android 10 update
Xiaomi have been releasing out so many smartphones this days that we have pretty much lost count. This is actually affecting update rollout as developers now have too many smartphones to port ROMs for.
Xioami officially launched the latest iteration of its custom Android skin which is the MIUI 12 in April of this year, which was about 5 months ago. Even with 5 months gone, there are still a couple of Xiaomi devices eligible for the MIUI 12 but yet to receive the update outside of China.
The Android 10 was also released by Google about a year ago but Xioami is also yet to roll out the update to all its eligible devices. Aside from the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro, a lot of Xioami smartphones are still yet to get the Android 10 update and this includes the Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8T, Redmi Y3 and even the Mi Mix 3 5G.
The good news however is that the stable Android 10 is expected to start rolling out to other eligible smartphones before the end of this month. The Android 10 update for the Redmi 8A Dual has already started rolling out for those in India and it's expected to expand to other regions soon.
Redmi 7 users in China have already started receiving the stable Android 10 MIUI 11 update and the update is expected to roll out to other regions very soon.
Aside the Android 10, Xioami is also part of the current Google Android 11 beta program with devices like the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and the Poco F2 Pro also known as the Redmi K30 Pro. This devices are expected to be the first set of Xiaomi smartphones to get the stable Android 11 update when it's finally released.
