Mi band 7 officially launched with Always on Display, Blood Oxygen tracker for $37

 The MI band 6 now has a new successor which is the Mi band 7. Even though both bands shares similar design and looks very identical, the Mi band 7 has a larger 1.62-inch AMOLED display, compared to the smaller 1.52-inch on the Mi band 6. The resolution is 490×192 pixels.


The Mi band 7 also comes with SpO2 sensor which offer users all-day blood oxygen level tracking. Some of the other new features includes support for 120 sports modes, more than 100 newly added watch faces and water resistance of up to 50-meter-deep water.

The battery on the Mi Band 7 has also been bumped up to 180mAh from the smaller 125mAh battery on the previous MI band 6 and Xiaomi claims this will give users up to 15 days of battery life without calls or turning on any of the advanced features. The battery can also charge from 0 to 100% in just 2 hours.

Some of the other known features of the Mi band 7 includes redesigned UI layout in other to display more information on the screen, Incoming call, SMS and other notification alerts, sports data analysis, stress monitoring, and sleep tracking.

At the moment, the MI band 7 is currently available for preorder in China at a starting price of CNY 299 ($44) for the NFC version, while the non-NFC version is being priced at CNY 249 ($37). Those who however order it early will be getting it at a discounted rate of CNY 279 ($42) and CNY 239 ($36) for the NFC and non-NFC versions respectively.

The Mi band 7 is only available in black colour while the strap is available in 6 different colours options. At the moment, it's only available in China but it is expected to rollout to other regions like Europe, India and other Asians countries in the coming weeks.
