Xioami has officially launched the Mi Band 4 with NFC, AI voice assistant and Amoled display

Finally, Xiaomi has officially launched its latest smart band which is the Mi band 4. This is the successor to the current Mi band 3. The Mi band 3 enjoyed a successful run with over 1 million units sold in just India alone.
Xiaomi will hope the new MI band 4 will continue the successful run of its predecessor. The new Mi band 4 introduces a new Amoled panel with 2.5D scratch resistant screen protector on top and a 39.9% larger display compared to its predecessor. It also has an improved hardware as well as newer features.

The band now has a new special version which supports NFC, it can be used to make payments on online commerce platforms like Alipay, Wechat etc. It also has water resistance of up to 5ATM (5 meters) with an upgraded 6-axis high-precision sensor to intelligently recognize different type of swimming strokes including Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley. It can also track 6 different sport modes like indoor running, outdoor running, exercise, swimming, cycling, and walking.
One other new addition to the new Mi band 4 is the support for Xiaomi's AI voice assistant which is known as "Xiao AI". It comes handy when you want to control Xiaomi's IoT devices, control musics, set alarms or create a schedule. You can easily call up the Xiao Ai on the Mi band 4 by raising the wrist.



As far as pricing goes, the Mi band 4 will be available in 2 different variants which are the NFC and non-NFC version. The Mi band 4 with NFC support will go for  229 yuan ($33, Rs2,300) while the variant without NFC will cost  169 yuan ($25, Rs1,800). There is also a Avengers Limited Edition that comes with unique coloured bands, a custom metal dial and a matching metal wrist buckle, and it costs 349 yuan ($51, Rs3,600). Sales will begin on the 14th of June.
