Pocophone F1 will receive the MIUI 11 update

Xiaomi already working on a newer version of it's heavily modded Android UI for it's devices and that's the MIUI 11. The upcoming version of the custom skin which is the MIUI 11 is currently still in works and isn't available for consumers yet, but we however have a little information on what to expect.
The MIUI 11 will be based on Google's Android 9.0 Pie which was released last year. One of the things to expect from the new UI is a new ultra power saving mode which will give users a better battery performance by limiting some background apps that consumes battery.

The status bar will also be optimized with better spacing and users will be given the option to darken the status bar in other to hide notches. There will also be option to automatically delete screenshots that has been shared and there will also be a better system wide dark mode adaption.
The question a lot of users will be asking now is which Xiaomi and Redmi devices will be getting the update and which ones will be dropped. Even though there is no official list yet on the eligible devices for the MIUI 11, we can already confirm that last year's Poco phone F1 will be getting the update.

The confirmation was made by Xiaomi's global head of Pocophone Alvin Tse via his official twitter handle. Although there is no ETA for the MIUI 11 rollout, The Snapdragon 845 powered Pocophone F1 users can be rest assured that they will get the update sometime in the future.
