Xiaomi has sold over 10 million Redmi Note 8 / Pro devices in just 3 months
The Xiaomi Redmi Note series has always being the most successful of all of Xiaomi's smartphone line-up as it has always managed to balance top mid-range specs with affordable pricing. The Redmi Note 7 had a successful run early this year and the recently launched successor, the Redmi Note 8 is doing even better.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 series on August 29 of this year 2019. This comprises of the regular Snapdragon powered Redmi Note 8 and the Mediatek powered Redmi Note 8 Pro. It is just barely 3 months since the official launch and Xiaomi has already shipped out over 10 million units already.
It took the Redmi Note 7 series 4 months to reach the 10 million milestone which means the Redmi Note 8 did it 1 month earlier. This is an average of 110,000 units sold everyday since launch.
Xiaomi is also celebrating this new milestone with a discount on the 6/128GB variant of the Redmi Note 8 on its website. The company is reportedly working on at least two more smartphones before the end of the year which are the Redmi K30 and most likely the Poco F2.
