Download GCAM 7.4 for Redmi Note 5, Note 7, Note 8, Note 9, Mi 9, Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro by Parrot043 - MGC_7.4.201_parrot043-v1.1

Xiaomi phones do come with pretty decent camera lenses, but the default camera app doesn't really do a good job in creating good image quality, and this is exactly where Google Camera, popular known as GCam comes in.

Google Camera, popular known as GCam is the default camera App that comes with the Google Pixel smartphone lineup and it is heavily responsible for the awesome shots and high image quality that the pixel phones are known for. GCam uses advance AI algorithm, it also includes other features like night sight, HDR+ as well as super Res zoom.

Unfortunately, the Google Camera is only available for Pixel smartphones. The good news however is that we have a whole lot of developers who have managed to port the GCAM app in other to make it compatible with other Android smartphones.

One of the most popular GCam Dev out there is Parrot043 and he has just released a new GCam version known as the mgc_7.4.201_parrot043-v1.1.apk. This is based on the Google Camera 7.4.201. A couple of new features and improvements have been added to this update.

HDR+ extended has now been added to portrait mode, also all portrait shots will now be saved in the default Dcim/camera folder, instead of creating a new folder everytime you take a portrait shot.

The Google Camera mgc_7.4.201_parrot043-v1.1 has been tested on a couple of Xiaomi devices like the Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred), Redmi Note 7 (Lavender), Redmi Note 8/8T (Ginkgo / Willow), Redmi Note 9 (Merlin), Redmi Note 9s / 9 Pro (Curtana), Redmi K20 / Mi 9T (Davinci), Redmi K20 Pro / Mi 9T Pro (Raphael) and also the Mi 9 (Cepheus). You can however try it on every other Xioami and Android smartphone running on Android 10 and above.

Below is the full changelog of the new mgc_7.4.201_parrot043-v1.1 from Parrot043 as well as the Download Links.
