 Finally, the stable MIUI 12 update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T (Codename: Willow) has started rolling out for Global users. This might  have taken a lot longer than expected but the good news is that the update is finally here.

The Global stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8T Willow is based on the Google Android 10 just as expected and the build version number is V12.0.1.0.QCXMIXM. This is the initial MIUI 12 roll out for Redmi Note 8t so users should expect all the features that the latest MIUI 12 has got to offer as well as an updated October 2020 Android security patch.

This is still a Beta stable update which not everyone will be getting the update yet except for those who signed up for the beta program. How to Manually check for MIUI 12 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
