Download EEA (Europe) stable MIUI 12 for Redmi 8 (Olive) [V12.0.1.0.QCNEUXM]

 Finally, the Europe EEA version of the Xiaomi Redmi 8 (Codename: Olive) has also joined the list of Xiaomi smartphones running on the latest MIUI 12. The new MIUI 12 update has just gradually started rolling out to all users of the Redmi 8 in Europe.

The new Europe EEA stable MIUI 12 for Redmi 8 comes with the build version number V12.0.1.0.QCNEUXM. The new update is still based on the Google Android 10 operating system, but it comes with an updated December 2020 Android security patch.

At the moment, this update is only available to just a handful of users, but it will eventually get to all users soon. If you can't wait for the public release, you can manually download the OTA and Recovery version of the ROM from the links provided below.

Dark mode

  • Optimization: Brightness and color improvements for wallpapers in Dark mode

Status bar, Notification shade

  • Fix: Notification shade wasn't displayed correctly in Dark mode

How to Manually check for MIUI 11 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

  • Go to settings.
  • Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  • Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
  • After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
  • Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  • After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  • If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
