Taiwan stable MIUI 12.5 (Android 11) for Poco F3 / Redmi K40 / MI 11x (Alioth) - V12.5.2.0.RKHTWXM

 For the Taiwan users of the Poco F3 (Codename: Alioth), also known as the Redmi K40 and the Mi 11x, a new MIUI 12.5 update is currently rolling out. At the moment, this update will only be available to just a few randomly selected users, but it is expected to get to everyone soon.

The latest Taiwan stable MIUI 12.5 update for the Poco F3 is based on Google Android 11 and it comes with the build version number V12.5.2.0.RKHTWXM. This new update comes with a few changes and mostly bug fixes. The full changelog is available below.

• Fix: Lock screen notification animations froze after the device was unlocked using face data
• Fix: Notifications flashed in some cases
• Fix: Floating notifications weren't displayed correctly in landscape mode
• Fix: Notification badges weren't updated for incoming notifications on a locked device

 

  

How to Manually check for MIUI 12.5 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
