Xiaomi announces that over 10 million of the Redmi Note 7 series have been sold do far

The Redmi Note series has always been one of Xiaomi's best selling smartphone line and even now that the Redmi is a sub brand, the latest Redmi Note 7 series has recorded a successful run just like it's predecessors. Xiaomi announced a few days ago that the company has sold over 2 million unit of the Redmi  Note 7 in India in the period of just 2 months.
Now, Redmi has just announced via its official India twitter account that over 10 million units of the Redmi Note 7 series have been sold globally so far. This is up from the 4 million global sales in the first quarter of the year which means that over 6 million units of the Redmi Note 7 series have been sold globally in just April and May.

The Redmi Note 7 family includes the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and the recently launched Redmi Note 7S. All this phones shares similar specs except for the camera and chipset. While the regular Redmi Note 7 comes with Snapdragon 650 and 12MP main camera, the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Redmi Note 7S are both powered by the Snapdragon 675 coupled with a 48MP main camera.
