Xiaomi to launch Redmi Note 7S in India on May 20 with 48MP camera

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series have recorded a massive success in India so far. The company recently announced that it has sold over 2 million units in just a period of 2 months, this is an average of 1 million units a month which is a great success.
The company however isn't holding back yet as a new addition will be made to the Redmi Note 7 series. According to a recent teaser on Xiaomi's official twitter page, the company is gearing up for a new smartphone which will be launched on May 20 and it will be called the Redmi Note 7s.

The  Chinese version of the Redmi Note 7 features a 48MP + 5MP setup on the back, while the Indian version comes with a 12MP + 2MP sensors. With the upcoming Redmi Note 7s, Indian customers will also enjoys the  48MP + 5MP rear camera setup.


The company however didn't say much about the other specifications of the device but we expect it to be the same as the other redmi note 7 device which is a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 409ppi pixel density. 

It will also most likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz and coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. No information yet on the memory variants but it will likely be available in 3GB, 4GB and 6GB options. Internal storage will also range from 32GB, 64GB to 128GB.



Price and other information will be announced at the official launch which is just three days away. So stay tuned for more information on that.
