Install GCam 7.3 for Poco X2 / Redmi k30 (Phoenix) by San1ty [PocoSv10.6.2b]

The recently launched Poco X2 (Code name: Phoenix) also known as Redmi K30 is one of the latest Mid-range smartphones from Xiaomi. The Redmi K30 was launched in December of 2019 in China with a Snapdragon 730G chipset as the successor to the Redmi K20. The phone was later re-branded early this year in India as the Poco X2.
The device has a pretty decent camera specs as it is packed with a Quad rear camera setup which comprises of a 64 MP main camera, an ultra-wide angle lens with 8MP, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. However, Xiaomi's camera software isn't really the best out there and this is where Gcam comes in.

Google Camera, popular known as GCam is the default camera App of the Pixel smartphone and the App is popular known for taking awesome shots due to its advance algorithm. Even though the App is only available for the Pixel smartphones, we have a couple of developers who have managed to Mod the App and make it compatible with other Android smartphones from different brand.

Fortunately for Poco X2 (Redmi K30) users, popular GCam dev San1ty has just ported the GCam App for the Poco X2. This is based on the latest Google Camera 7.3.020 and it is compatible with both the Android 9.0 Pie and Android 10.

Changelog PocoSv10.6.2b:

  • Based on Google Camera 7.3.020
