Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (Codename: Daisy) starts receiving stable Android 10 update

While the Xiaomi MI A3 (Codename: Laurel) users are still waiting for the official Android 10 update for their devices, Xiaomi has already started rolling out the Android 10 update for the Mi A2 (Codename: Daisy) Lite which is the cheaper version of the MI A2 (Codename: Jasmine) that received the update a couple of weeks ago.
The Xiaomi Mi A series are always known for receiving more software support compared to other Xiaomi smartphones as they run on stock Android OS as opposed to the MIUI version found on other Xiaomi phones. The new Android 10 update is the second major update that the MI A2 Lite is receiving since its official launch with the Android 8.1 Oreo back in 2018.

The update is currently being rolled out in batches so it might take some time before everyone finally gets the update. You can however check if the update is already available for your own smartphone by going to your phone Settings > System > then tap on System update.

Below is the full change log of the Android 10 update for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite.

Changelog:
  • Dark theme
  • Gesture Navigation
  • Privacy controls
  • Replace the Xiaomi FM Radio with a Qualcomm app
  • Bug fixes and System Optimization
