How to install Havoc-OS 3.5 on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet)

The MIUI ROM is currently the most popular custom skin on Android devices. It is the default ROM that comes on with all Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones except for the Mi A series. Even though the MIUI ROM is feature packed, it is however pretty heavy which is one of the reasons why most users prefer to install third party ROMs on their Xiaomi phones.

One of the most popular custom third party ROMs available for Android devices is the Havoc OS custom ROM. Havoc-OS is an AOSP based custom ROM with a very minimalist design, but a couple of customization options for users to choose from. 

The latest official Havoc-OS 3.5 is now available for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro (Codename: Violet). The ROM is based on Google's Android 10.  Below is the full changelog.

How to install Havoc-OS ROM on Redmi Note 7 Pro - Violet:
Requirements:

• Official OrangeFox Twrp Recovery for Redmi Note 7 Pro - Violet: Download Here
• Official HavocOS 3.5 (Android 10) for Redmi Note 7 Pro - Violet : Download Here
• Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet) China Firmware: Download Here
• Magisk: Download Here

How to Install:

• Make sure you have a Twrp recovery installed or download from the link above
• Downloaded the latest China firmware, Havoc ROM, GApps and Magisk
• Copy all the downloaded files to your phone internal storage 
• Boot into recovery. 
• Wipe system, data, cache and Dalvik cache
• Wipe all in "Advanced Wipe except otg and sd card"
• Flash Latest China Firmware
• Flash the Havoc OS ROM Build
• Flash Gapps (optional)
• Flash Fcrypt (If you don't want to get encrypted)
• Wipe cache/Dalvik
• Reboot to system

Note:

• If you want to root, then you can go ahead and flash Magisk "after the first boot".
