The Redmi 9A was launched just a few months ago, so it is almost not surprising that it is among the first set of devices to receive new MIUI 12 update. The Global stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi 9A comes with the build number V12.0.5.0.QCDMIXM.

This is the second MIUI 12 update that the device will be receiving. It is based on the Google Android 10 and comes with the latest August 2020 Google Android security patch. The update is currently rolling out in patches to all users via OTA, so it  might take a few days before all users get the update. • Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> System update.
  

• click on Check for updates.
  
• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
