Download India stable MIUI 12 for Redmi 6 Pro (Sakura) [V12.0.2.0.PDMMIXM]

 Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is still stuck on last year's MIUI 11, Xiaomi has already started rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update for its much cheaper and lower speced sibling which is the Redmi 6 Pro (Codename: Sakura). 

The Redmi 6 Pro was launched in 2018 with MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 and that was later  updated to MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 Pie in 2019. Even though the MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 6 Pro has already started rolling out, it is still based on Android 9.0 Pie as Xiaomi only promises one major update for entry level smartphones.

The new Indian stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi 6 Pro has the build number V12.0.2.0.PDMMIXM and it is based on Android 9. With this update, users will get all the new features of MIUI 12 as well as the latest August 2020 Android security patch.

How to Manually check for MIUI OTA update on your Redmi or Xiaomi smartphone
Since this is a gradual phased update, there will definitely be delays before it gets to all users. You can however still check to know if the update is available for your own device yet by following the instruction below.

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> System update.
  

• click on Check for updates.
  
• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
