Update 22nd of May 2021: The global version of the Redmi Note 8 Pro Begonia is getting yet again another MIUI 12 based update with a software version of V12.0.8.0.QGGMIXM and a new Android security patch.

Update - 22, March 2021: A new Global stable MIUI 12 update has just started rolling out for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Begonia. The update has the build version number V12.0.7.0.QGGMIXM and it comes with the February 2021 Android security patch.

 Another new Global stable MIUI 12 update has just started rolling out for the Redmi Note 8 Pro and this time it is the MIUI V12.0.3.0. This isn't bringing much changes other than a few bug fixes, system improvements and also a new security patch.

The Global stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with the build version number V12.0.3.0.QGGMIXM. It is based on Google Android 10 and also comes with the August 2020 Android security patch. This update is being rolled out in batches, so it will only be available to just a few random users for now before it eventually makes it way to all users in the coming days.

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> System update.
  

• click on Check for updates.
  
• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
