Global stable MIUI 12.5 (Android 11) for Xiaomi Mi 9 (Cepheus) - V12.5.1.0.RFAMIXM

 The Global version of the Xiaomi's 2019 flagship device, Mi 9 (codename: cepheus) has just started receiving the latest MIUI 12.5 update which is based on Google's Android 11 operating system. This update is currently available in a few regions, but it is expected to get to everyone soon.

The latest Global stable MIUI 12.5 update for the Xiaomi MI 9 Cepheus comes with the build version number V12.5.1.0.RFAMIXM. The update comes with the all the new features of MIUI 12.5 as well as the latest Android 11. The update also includes the May 2021 Android security patch.

At the moment, the update is only available to just a few randomly selected users, but it is expected to get to all users very soon. However, you can install the update early by manually downloading it from the Links provided below.

    How to Manually check for MIUI 12.5 OTA update on all Xiaomi / Redmi /Poco Smartphones

    • Go to settings.
    • Tap on About phone >> Software Update
    • Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
    • After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
    • Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
    • After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
    • If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
