The next iteration of MIUI which is Xiaomi's custom Android skin is expected to be unveiled next month. The upcoming MIUI 13 is expected to come with a whole lot of new interesting of features and we are already getting leaks on what to expect from the next version of MIUI.

Going by latest rumours, the upcoming MIUI 13 will allow users expand the RAM on their phone through a virtual RAM process. This will allow users to increase their phone's RAM by up to 3GB more using part of the phone's internal storage.

Xiaomi won't be the first smartphone manufacturer to adopt this feature as Oppo and Vivo has already implemented it on some of their own devices. Xiaomi also added this feature to the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G (China exclusive) through an update which allows users to add up to 2GB more virtual RAM using the phone's internal storage.

Aside this feature, some of the other things to expect from the upcoming MIUI 13 includes new animations, new app icons, a new game floating window, new wallpapers, layered rendering system and more. As I mentioned earlier, The MIUI 13 is expected to launch next month August 2021.
