Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro gets Stable Android 9.0 Pie Update with MIUI 10.3.2.0

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro which was launched in November of 2018 with Android v8.1 (Oreo) out of the box have started receiving the latest Android 9 Pie update.  The stable update has started rolling out following the completion of the beta testing.

The new Android Pie update comes with MIUI version 10.3.2.0 and it has already started rolling out to all versions of the redmi note 6. The update which is 1.7GB in size comes with  performance optimization and improved security. It also includes the April security patch as well as the standard Android pie features.

If you are using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and you haven't received the update notification yet, you can manually check by heading over to your phone  Settings > About Phone > System update > Check for updates. 

It's advisable to charge your phone or connect it to a power outlet and also make sure you are connected to a stable network before you proceed with the update.  Xiaomi is also expected to roll out the update for the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi 6 Pro users soon.
