Xiaomi Redmi 9A launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, Full Specifications and Price in India, China, US

In late June of this year 2020, Xiaomi announced the Redmi 9A which was one of the company's affordable entry level smartphones for 2020. It came with a 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal storage.

In September of 2020, Xioami relaunched the Redmi 9a in India with a larger 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, and it was also renamed to the Redmi 9i in India. Now, another new memory configuration of the Redmi 9A has just been announced in China with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The Redmi 9a is powered by Mediatek entry level Helio G25 12nm chipset coupled with an Octa-core processor and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device also runs on Android 10 based MIUI 12 out of the box.

The display of the Redmi 9A is a 6.53 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720px, pixel density of 269ppi and a peak brightness of 400nit.

The device has just a single 13MP rear facing camera as well as a single 5MP front facing camera housed in the notch. The Redmi 9A also has a massive 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.

The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Redmi 9A will go on sale in China tomorrow September 29 at a starting price of 999 yuan which is equivalent to 146 USDamd 10,770 Rupees. It will be available in Midnight Black, Sea Blue, and Nature Green.
